Sketch visualisation at zoom - point is not on curve

HI everybody, we have a problem with visualisation. We have created a circle and a line. The circle should align at the sketch origin at X/Y 0,0. Also the line start point is at the sketch origin. When we zoom inside the sketch, the start point is not on the circle even we made the constraint. Please check the attached picture for better visualisation. We think this is just a visualisation problem. Where can we make changes in the preferences? Thanks for helping. Frank

Have you tried an "update view"?

Hi Ken, yes we did and update view, but nothing happened. The long line has 1000 mm the short one is only 0.5 mm. Maybe this is a problem cause of the big difference. Frank

A quick way to check to see if it is just a visualization issue is to use "measure distance" to measure between the point and the curve. If it reports a distance of 0 (or something very close to it), then it is just a visualization anomaly. In this case, try using "regenerate view"; this will recalculate the geometry and redraw the objects (updat display does not recalculate). Recalculation may be necessary if/when the zoom factor changes greatly.

Other things to check would be the curve tolerance in the visualization preferences and possibly the sketch solver tolerance.

Hi coski, thanks for your help. We tried "regenerate view" without success. But as you mentioned it´s a graphic problem. The distance we measured is zero. Thanks for your help. Frank
