Sort Function for Tabular Note

Does the tabular note in drafting have the function to sort based on a specific row, similar to the parts list "Sort" function.

 

For example if a revision history table needs to be sorted by revision (see below). So the "REV" column would sort or filter alphabetically.

Not directly in NX without some sort of custom Journal or script but you could use Edit -> Table -> Edit using Spreadsheet to accomplish this.

Hi @Taylor8,

Lock the first row of tabular note then using sort option, selected column can be reordered alphabeticlly.

Thank you for the great tip! That definitely solves the subject line.

 

However, I did not explain my issue clearly (sorry about that). If I am including the revision history as part of my "populate title block" it doesn't allow for me to lock the top row as shown in the video. Is the only work around to just leave the revision history as a tabular note instead of including it in the title block?
