I am trying to figure out how to speed up the creation of NX symbolic threads.
Everything except one thing is clear to me.
There is a parameter called "Number of Starts". What is the purpose of this parameter? I couldn´t figure out any change in behavior.
Thank you for your replies.

A thread with 2 starts is sometimes also called a double thread. Instead of one thread wrapping around the threaded face, there will be two. You may not see a difference in the "symbolic thread" representation.
Representation may not be change. However if your CAM guys are using FBM or any other method to identify the thread, program the threading operation using NX CAM, it is useful.
