View Orientation Tools

Hi,

A simple question, yet I find it hard to find the anwser:

Say I want to change the orientation of the view of a part so it becomes normal to a specific surface I have click on, is there anyway to do this without having to creating each time a specific view, then select and open the view? The view is not parallel to any plan formed with the XYZ coordinate system of the part. In Solidworks (our company has move to NX recently) I could do this in one click, and the whole process took less than 1s...

Thank you, Marc

You can press the F8 key to orient the view to the closest canned view. If you select a planar face before pressing the F8 key, the view will be oriented to the selected face.

Well, F8... of course it worked, simply needed to select the right thing...

Thank you very much, Marc
