Automatic, no.

Say you place

- one view at 1:1

- 2 views at 2:1

- 2 more views at 1:1

- 2 more views at 2:1

NX would be switching the sheet scale back & forth.

And (Current behavior, at least thru NX10) all the existing views would swicth to the new sheet scale when it is changed (IMO this is annoying, but then IANAD, so I don't know if drafters feel the same way).

Could this behavior be changed?

Submit an ER thru GTAC, and post it here so (if other users think it is useful) they can add "me too" ERs.

The sheet scale is reflective of any view that does not have a scale listed below it (ex: detail view at 5x would be shown as such). The DO NOT SCALE on a drawing means just that. Any feature size in question should not be scaled no matter what the drawing scale is or how it is plotted.

In this day and age not many companies I work with need to know what the drawing scale (or any view scale) is because they requst STEP files.

Back in the old days (I come from way back in the time of drafting boards) scale was more important than it appears to be today.
