Weight on Drawing (Native)

Hi there

I have a popular question.

for NX 10, NX 11 and NX 12 Native

Which is now the up to date workaround for putting the weight on the drawing? There are many different topics. But which one is the right one?

And how do I handle assembly weights? I think over adding a part list on the drawing is the best option? But how do I deactivate the weight in the title block? Two different drawing templates?

I'd suggest adding the weight as a general note on the drawing. This way it can be omitted on drawings that don't need it without affecting the title block.

@cowski1

thank you very much.

But anyway you also do following?

  1. on template 3d part
    1. create cube
    2. asign material
    3. update weight
    4. create attribute like test_mass
    5. reference to MassPropMass
  2. on template 2d part
    1. add attribute in attribute template window
      1. db_dwg_template_test_mass
      2. create a note with reference to db_dwg_template_test_mass
  3. delete cube
  4. save all files
  5. have fun?
