assembly constraints

hello everyone.i am new to nx.

i want to ask that ,is it necessary to fully constraint the assembly?

From my point of view. It is really advisable to fully constraint your assembly.
With this, you can verify things like degrees of freedom, positioning or out fitting, etc..
Also it is easier for me to assemble part files using constraints.

When you have an assembly and constraint it one thing you should be careful about after constaining the assembly certain or specific components should be able to move so as to serve the function of the assembly.So it is not necessary that every parts should be fully constrained.

For example if if you have a guide and a rail the guide should be able to move along the rail to serve the purpose.
