constrain poles of a 3D spline as in 2D sketcher?

To manipulate 3D splines seems to be tricky for me. Below is an example:
 
Is there an easy way to associatively constrain the 6 poles of the spline to the 6 sketch points in axis Y direction? In other words, if the 6 spline poles are projected to XZ plane, the resulting points would be exactly conincident with the 6 sketch points. 
 
The idea is borrowed from 2D sketch. I'm not sure the workflow is reasonable or not. Hope to have your suggestions.

Hi @surfactant

I made a solution that measures your original spline poles from the Y constant plane and creates contruction curves from the sketch points down along Y at the measured values. Then make a new spline through the end points of the construction curves.

Probably more complicated than you hoped for and I'm sure your real model is more complicated. This can be easilty automated with some code to make it super effecient.

Hello

 

you can create construction lines through the sketch points and normal to the sketch plane. Then you can use the end points of the lines to create a associative spline.
