hello eveyone,

I want to create multiple associative points based on the coordinates in an Excel File. I want to be able to change these coordinates by Excel any time. How can I do this?

Reuse Feature with multiple associative csys or a sketch containing points and constrained somehow will give you that functionality.

Or simply a Sketch with points (constrained to x, y, z) and you can simply import the expressions from spreadsheet.

you can use UG_cell_Read in the expressions.

Make for every point a X,Y,Z expression and link the to a cell

after changing the excel use the "update for external Change" to update the part file.

only if it are a lot of points it can take some time

Using a sketch in this instance assumes that all the points lie in the same plane...

Thank you all for solutions but there are more than a 100 points on the same plane. Is there a faster way to do this? I’ve already tried the approaches commented above
