I created simple "text on face" in "Modeling" application. Now I need to edit space between characters, but cannot find, how to do it. When I change parameters "offset" or "W Scale", also text size is changed. Do you have some suggestion, how to do it? But please, keep in mind, I need create lot of text, so create each character separately is too time consuming.
Attached is image with example.
Extrude text with boolean option as 'None'. Use 'Move Objcet' command with associative option toggled on to adjust the space between letters.
Thank you for answer, but as I wrote in my first post, I have lot of text and this will be also time consuming. In addtition, this will work only on planar faces, but I have to put text on general face and embos them.
I`m wondering, if exist some hidden settings for space between characters, direct in the TEXT dialog. Maybe insert text between some tags (<Zx>text<Z>), similarly as in Drafting.
In the JPG you uploaded, there is a toggle "Use Kerning Spaces"
What happens if you turn that off?

I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
In this case, nothing what could help me. I can change gap between characters using this check box, but the value is hardcoded and depends on font type (font must have kerning data). Characters "x" and "t" are still overlaping.
