No problem - just drill it into your head when you choose the Intersection Point (from the Point dialog's pulldown NOT the Snap Point) that the point will lie on the first object selected of the two.
Sometimes order of selecting objects in NX is VERY important.
When I started on UG, selecting a chain of curves was a bit of an art. I'm glad those days are behind us. But, yes, order of selections can still play a big role in the results.

Q: How does "Point" > "Intersection Point" decide to create an intersection point sucsessfully (no alert, associative) or unsuccessfully (alert, non-associative)?
