User has a CAD model, where the sketch is giving the Alert "No objects for intersection curve". A previous designer created the sketch, and does not recall using any intersection curves, and I see no indicator of where the issue is. Anyone seen behavior like this? Sketch looks fine, and says it is fully constrained, with no conflicts. Listing all the geometric constraints with Show/Remove Constraints does look a bit odd though, see below.
Below, I dont recall ever seeing lines, arcs and points denoted like this:
Well we found the intersection curve. The sketch colors were different than our default, so it was not showing up as expected.
The point, line, and curve names are still odd to me.
I suspect that you'll like the new 'Sketch Relations Broswer' (as seen below) that will be replacing the old 'Show/Remove Constraints' function in NX 11.0:
In addition to making it easier to find the relationships (hence the name) between sketch objects and the constraints associated with them, we're also providing additional feedback concerning the status of their constraint state (using icons similar to those for the constraint status of Components in the Assembly Navigator) as well as additional info about relationships and where they came from.
I have to admit, they did look a bit strange. Have you looked at what is set in Customer Defaults for the sketch object 'Name Prefixes'?
Settings look standard for this user, but the previous user has changed his. That clears that up.
Hey, aren't you retired?
No, it was a typical intersection curve with the solid, but the standard sketch curve colors had been changed by someone, so it was not appearing as expected.
