Did you mean:

scale dimension

HI

Im new to NX and trying to find a way to scale a diemension in drafting.

what  id like is to double the presented value of the dimension but keep it associative so if the part changes the dimension still  reads the correct value but doulbe, if you see what i mean.

simuler to the Scale Mode found in the properties of a Solid Edge Dimension.

There is no option available to scale the dimension like the drafting views. Only you can adjust the height factor of dimension in proportionate to scale view.

You can create an expression with the formula 2*pxx (where pxx is your modeling dimension), and then you create the drafting dimension and select "Home tab > Annotation > Edit text" on the drafting dimension.

There you can change the text for <X0.2@your_expression>

You can choose the number of decimals by editing the 0.2.

This way you will have an associative dimension with your desired formula.

@MSV- This workaround will fulfill the requirement but the dimensions will be with manual text. In check mate run such dimensions will result into check mate failure.

Hi,

you can try with $<text> in NX drafting annotation. It will be reflect as<text> .
