hi is it possible to add the solid density attribute in the Title block? I know there is a ER about this but maybe it has been solved? Or anybody knows some workaround?

Thank you

Lau

This is possible by creating a custom column in the assembly navigator.

make sure that you have added a material to the part.

Thank you Ruud, I have now the density attribute in a custom column of the ANT, but how can I read this attribute from the Title Block in a drawing? (drafting application, Master Model structure). The 'DB_DWG_TEMPLATE_name of Master model attribute'' doesn't seem to work (it works for material but not for Weight and Density)

@Laurus If you follow the steps in this movie https://vimeo.com/100179684 (created by PhoenxPLM) it will helps for making the attributes working voor mass and density.

hi Ruud,

it seems that the procedure you suggest to get mass and density attributes doesn't work in Nx11 (11.0.2.7).

I assign the material, generate the weight data, I get the MassPropMass and massPropDensity attributes in the list of Part Attribute, but when I make the attribute Mass and I link it to Reference Text, those attributes are not in the list. And there are not expressions, linked to those attributes.

what i do is i make first a mass expression link that to the default mass property of NX (masspropmass) us in the format("%8.1f",p6)   (p6 is the name of the linked expression to a attribute)

make then a new attribute x_mass of something else and link that attribute to the expression mass that you just have created.

The problem is that in NX11 I don't see the expression linked to the
attribute MassPropMass. The only thing I can do is to make the expression
with the command Analysis-Measure body; is this what you mean or maybe my
version of NX11 needs to be updated with a patch?
