Center marks show the location of a hole, cylinder, or other round feature on a drawing as a pair of perpendicular lines that cross at the center of the feature. These marks are used for dimensioning, GD&T, and other annotation related to the round feature.
Often, center marks are shown in a standard orientation where the lines are horizontal and vertical with respect to the orientation of the overall drawing. However, this is not always the case. Sometimes it is necessary to show center marks at other angles to satisfy the needs of a particular view, or to meet particular drafting standards. In these cases, the angle must be modified. IN NX 11.0.1, this is easier than ever because you can select other geometry in the view as a reference for the center mark angle. Naturally, you can still type in an angle, as well. This enhancement reduces the need for manual calculation and makes it easier to produce the drawings you need with speed and accuracy.
