Hello Guys

I use NX10 to mill a chamfer with ZLevel. Then I output CL file that is ok.(CLSF Output with decimal 4). After I change to decimal 7. CL file is more CIRCLE line out (Tape file G3) that is wrong. I do not know where is wrong?

Thanks!

Kevin

I would not say that it is wrong, it is just better to use more decimal places to get a better tool path.

A circle is smoother than consecutive lines.

If you don't like circles, change the output of the operation to linear.

Do not change the post-processor to only output linear motion, since then you get facets instead of smooth circular moves.

If this question is about NC programming, I would ask it in the Manufacturing forum.
