Hi Eveyone,

Can it be possible to change the content displayed in Resource bar browser through button click using NXopen API.

Statically it can be done by entering URL in File tab->Preferences->User Interface->Resource Bar->Web Browser Tab->Home Page URL

I am looking for dynamic url changing from API call

Thanking you

Nij

There is a class available in C++ only that allows some control of the Resource Bar.  Please see the NXOpen::ResourceBarMangager class in the NX Open C++ reference.

What is the task at hand that needs this kind of support? May be there is another way to accomplish that, without changing the URL.

Hi Stefan,

I used show context help in resource bar in NX8.5, but in NX11 they have removed this option, the context sensitive help will come as a separate window. No I am thinkig to show the help information in resource bar web browser. I want the help to be attached with resource bar.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are trying to do, but have you looked at:

UFSession.ui().displayUrlAndActivate(String url)

The docs say:

Displays the specified URL in the NX internal web browser, bringing it to the
front if it is available. Otherwise displays in the user's defined default
web browser.
