Drafting Objects Visible in Layer

Pioneer

Hi Everyone,

I am facing a weired issue. I have created drafting entities (Dimensions, Notes, Tabular notes and etc) and placed it in layer 254. When I turn ON layer in the drafting workbench I am able to see Dimensions, Tabular notes. But I am not able to see the Note which is associated with the view. To make this note visible I have to goto View---> Layer Visible In View---> choose the view and make the layer 254 as Visible to see the note. This issue is occurring rarely. When I execute my module for the next time I am able to see the notes without doing this layer visibleIn View.

Can some one help me out of this. Please refer the attached video.

Thanks,

When you create a drafting view, (by default) the layers visible in that view are the "global" layers (e.g. what you would see in modeling) visible when the view was created.

So if you create most views with 254 visible, them you don't have to do anything.  If you turn off layer 254, then create another view, that one specifc view will not have layer 254 visible (and you have to use Layers VIV to turn it on)
