To all,

Does anyone know how one can get the name of the 'SOL 103 response simulation' "attached" to a response simulation?

Thanks

After some "random" reading I stumbled across the

Dim ReferencedSolution As SimSolution

which is part of Class CAE.ResponseSimulation.SolutionBuilder. The ReferenceSolution 'returns or sets the referenced solution which must be a SEMODES *103 solution with modal results solved'. This is what I am after!

Does anyone know or can advice how to use it? I am not trying to "build" a new resp. sim. Only want to know what is the ReferenceSolution of a given CAE.ResponseSimulation.Solution

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Regards

You still need to instantiate a builder using the existing Response Sim Solution. You can then query the ReferencedSolution property of the builder. Finally, destroy the builder without committing it.

that's exactly what I did. Seems to work!
