How to Add PMI to Three Edges of a Simple Block Through Journal

Hello there,

I am trying to add PMI to three edges of a simple block to indicate its height, width, and length with NX journal. I searched for examples in the GTAC forum and other journaling websites, but couldn't find any related information. I also tried to record a journal of adding PMI, but the generated journal seems very complex.

Any advice or examples would be great!

Thanks,

Kai

What version of NX?

NX 10.0.3.5

Thanks,

I would do the following:

  1. find the block
  2. find one edge of that block
  3. find the corner point of that edge

From the corner you can now walk through the attached edges and analyse them to find the ones that are appropriate for your dimensions.
