Rupali,

Good morning.  In your NX10 installation files, navigate to ...UGOPEN\SampleNXOpenApplications\.NET\RemotingExample.

This example includes two programs.  The Server program is built as a .DLL, and when you run it in the interactive NX session, it starts a listener process so that you can communicate with NX from an outside application.

The Client program is an example of such an external application that is built as a .exe.  When it runs, it connects to the interactive session.

You will need the 2012 version of the Visual Studio for NX10.

We also have an example or two on the Solution Center - the keywords to use would be

sample program remoting

Best regards,

Steve

What would be an example of using remoting?

Could you possibly run a client on a Raspberry Pi and then remotely communicate with an NX session from the Raspberry Pi?

According to the Remote Processes article in the online help, remoting is not only available via .NET, but also via RMI for Java. This seems like the most likely way to proceed for Linux.
