How to export to memory instead of exporting to a file ?

Hi nice people,

Do you know a way to export to memory instead of exporting to a file ?

NXOpen::CAE:Smiley Tongueost:Smiley TongueostviewExportDisplay exports to a file. Is there or will there be a way to same to memory ?

I'm currently looking for an alternative approach but writing to memory would be great.

Thx

PostviewExportDisplay is used to create a JT file of the data in the specified postview. What do you mean when you say you want this to be written to memory instead? You want the contents of the JT file to be stored in memory? Why?

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I would like a method that would return a pointer to the content of the JT file in memory.
I'm using this to speed up a process that reuses the JT file.

Is there a way to achieve this ?

Thanks

Ok. Cool. Will work with files, then.
