If you are experiencing a problem with a method in the API, please file a report with GTAC so that it can be addressed.

An alternative method to get elements related to a node is to use:

NXOpen.CAE.SmartSelectionManager.CreateRelatedElemMethod(NXOpen.CAE.FENode()) As NXOpen.CAE.RelatedElemMethod

Hi Jim,

Thanks for replying. I tried your suggestion but same result (see attached)

About my model:

It is a independent LSDyna Solid (Hex) mesh - No association with geometry. Can that be a issue?

At this point it would be best to contact GTAC and/or post your specific code and fem/sim files that you are running it in.
