First, thank you Gerrit for stepping up and taking command of a critical piece of administration.
In TcNX100TCIN.bat [Line 72] please comment out by default:
set UGII_UGMGR_ITEMID_IS_OSFILE_NAME=1
If the env var is set to anything, then exported parts will use the ItemID as their name without the RevID. I think most folks would like to include the RevID in the OS filename.
The value is already commented out in:

Before all thank you for your effort.
I found that this version saves the load_option.def file in the root of directory
In my case the path is K:\NX100custom
If I remember correctly past versions saves the same file in path like this:
K:\NX100custom\NX100library\CustomerDefaults\Users\username\load_option.def
Could this feature be restored?
In the first case all we user of the same office write load_option.def each other
In the second case anyone had its own on the rigth user folder
(I have double checked this. In NX7.5 the load_option file is saved as per second case)
Thank you

Hello Fabio,
The setting for the load options is still there in the NX100common.bat at line 45.
However it has been commented out already since NX8Custom_RevM
Unfortunatley I do not know the reason why Rob Cohon took this out.
It is still easy to activate when needed.
If i get more questions, i will consider to put it on by default.

Hi Gerrit,
you can tell me the following file NX variables from the "NX100env.dat".
UGII_ALLOW_REFERENCE_SET_CSYS = 1
UGII_SECTION_USE_PLANAR_FACE = YES
UGII_DONT_CACHE_WAVE_LINK_DATA = 1
UGII_CSD_ON_DIALOG_BAR = 1
UGII_ALLOW_PMI_FLOWDOWN = 1
I can find no info
Do you have an example for me
Regards
...Christian

With an appreciative tip o' the hat to Ben Broad, here is a brief description of three of those:
UGII_ALLOW_REFERENCE_SET_CSYS
Re-enables the ability to Create Reference Set CSYS when creating a new reference set. This functionality was removed in NX6 during a dialog redesign.
UGII_SECTION_USE_PLANAR_FACE
Prevents NX from defaulting to sketch on face when extruding from a face. See also Customer Defaults: Modeling -> Extras -> Sketch On Planar Faces.
UGII_CSD_ON_DIALOG_BAR
Used to enable class selection on the graphics display dialog bars (gwifs).

Hello Christian,
From the 2 variables leftover here the explanation.
For UGII_DONT_CACHE_WAVE_LINK_DATA :
Symptom
---------------
When manually breaking a WAVE link, the parent part knowledge is retained
when using the WAVE Associativity Manager.
Solution
---------------
By setting the variable UGII_DONT_CACHE_WAVE_LINK_DATA = 1, NX
will not cache WAVE specific information that can be seen when a link is broken.
For UGII_ALLOW_PMI_FLOWDOWN:
This is a setting that was introduced for PMI in combination with TSV (Quick
Stack. However, this product has retired since NX8 and has been replaced
by Technomatics VSA.
Since this environment variable is obsolete, i will remove it in future versions.
Thank you for the feedback.

Hi,
is there a simple way to customize the location of the translator seed parts like "step214ugnullnx100_mm.prt"? I want to put them in an other dir. I don't want to overwrite them.
Thanks
Stefan
