Reverting User Settings back to Default

Experimenter
Experimenter

I currently have a user whose settings are completely messed up and I need to revert him back to the settings that are in place on a clean install.

I have tried uninstalling NX 10 and clearing the Siemens folder from Program Files, as well as the NX folder in the user's Local AppData. None of this seems to have had any effect on his settings.

Clearly I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Bob M.

Try checking his NX log file to see exactly what is getting loaded.

Here is the log file in question. I am still relatively new to NX, so I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

For example, what "settings" are not going back to default?

His plot settings. When plotting to PDF the title block doesn't show, or nothing shows at all. I'd like to revert all his settings back to default to be able to support him properly, though, as he has several custom settings that affect other areas of drafting and modelling. The previous developer/support had used it as a tester and now he can't do any work due to the change in his settings.

There's also registry settings:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\NX\10.0

Ken Akerboom Sr CAx Systems Engr, Moog, Inc.
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP5 + patch/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steemed than e-diseaseled

Would I delete this registry so it can reinitialize on a fresh install?

Re: Reverting User Settings back to Default

To reset NX to OOTB conditions, delete the registry key and three files shown in this message:
