I want to play a journal file ( journal.vb) from an NXOpen.Net (c#) program.
Since the run_journal.exe is working in batch I can't use it.
The journal.vb is created on the fly by an external tool and should be started by the startup dll.
Thank you in advance
Essentially, you're asking whether a program written in C# can call a program written in VB. The answer is yes, and a Google search will give you lots of info on the subject.
But, life is much easier if the two programs that need to communicate are written in the same language. So, why not record the journal in C#, or why not write the calling program in VB ??
Thank you for your reply. But it doesn't work as described. I cannot build the dll which is calling the journal file and don't know how to proceed.
