> Do you know how to control the "Width" of the dialog?
The dialog is a standard NX block-based dialog. So, as far as I know, there is no way to control its width.
Not sure if this is possible with SNAP, I don't use that at all, but if you design the dialog with BlockStyler you can allow the dialog to resize by expanding the 'Other' group and changing "Dialog Sizing" to "Allow Resize".
To force the width to be larger than standard add a Label to the dialog and set it to use a bitmap that is the width you want the dialog and 1 pixel high. This will force the dialog to grow to accomodate the bitmap.
To make the bitmap invisible just fill it with Magenta colour (RGB=255,0,255) which is used as transparent on the dialog.
This is one dialog I've created using this technique:
Dell 7530 Precision, Win10, 32GB. Developing in: Java | C | KF
Production: [NX12.0.2 MP1]
Thanks Graham! Really smart!
However, it didn't work with SNAP. I insert a bitmap but it just shows me a scroll bar... The size of dialog never changed.
Too bad... But still thank you for your idea.
