Save objects into a separate file

[ Edited ]

Hello everyone!

Is there a way to save the selected faces/objects in a separate model file? Let's say I've selected some faces using the Face Collector of the Block UI Styler and want to save them as a separate file in the backgroud. Or the same operation, but using the Select Object and selecting the bodies. What would be the way to go?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Save objects into a separate file

You would have to extract the face geometry into face bodies.

Faces are part of bodies and can't be exported to a different part file.

I would do the task interactively and create the code based on the interactive workflow.
