I`ve seen at some OEM`s that they suspend the sessions after 60 minutes of inactivity in the cad system (not NX) to free up licenses.
And when you want to resume you simply click resume session in a small window and all the parts also those whith no write access or not stored ones where restored in session.
Does anybody know if this is possible in NX or if there is a tool available?
I don't think so.
Note the NX session will periodically query the license server (if your network goes down you get "Heartbeat" errors) and (even if you use lmtools to free a license) it will re-checkout the license.
So (other than getting the user to close NX) the only reliable way to clear an "in use" license is to stop the ugraf.exe process on the client (with possible catastrophic results to the parts currently open in the session)
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP5 + patch/TC11.2
