UGII_JAVA_HOME MUST BE DEFINED. THE JRE WAS NOT FOUND

I HAVE NX 10 INSTALLED ON MY WINDOWS 10. I CAN OPEN NX 10 APPLICATION BUT NOT CATIA V4/V5. WHENEVER I OPEN IT A cmd WINDOW OPENS UP AND IT SHOWS :

 

UGII_JAVA_HOME MUST BE DEFINED.

THE JAVA RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT(JRE) WAS NOT FOUND.

 

I HAVE ATTACHED THE IMAGE OF THAT MESSAGE.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

First, writing posts in all capitals is shouting and is not polite, write your posts as you would in a business letter.

All external translators need JAVA_HOME to be set in the Windows environment or UGII_JAVA_HOME in the NX environment, this should be described in the NX documentation.

Setting JAVA_HOME would be sufficient, since it will be inherited by NX to be used for UGII_JAVA_HOME.

& Java 1.8+ is required for NX10, no 1.7 anymore ...
