in our older NX installation directory I've found a separate directory (not inside NX) called UGTOOLS or UGTOOLS_NX. It's labeled (maybe named from former admin?)
What are UGTOOLS? - I've found hints for getting special features in creating plots or drawings with special frames or so. But I don't know where I can find a common description for UGTOOLS.
Additionally, are those tools specific for individual NX Simcenter versions? - We only have "ugtools" directories for NX10 and NX11 but not for NX12. Momentarily we begin to change to that version.
Do we need UGTOOLS for NX12 - I think so. But where can I get it?
Who can help? - Any suggestions are welcome. Best wishes, Michael

UGTOOLS is the old name of the local German NXTools product [UGT0001] with roots back to the 90s as a collection of useful GRIP programs like drawing frames and title blocks based on the (legacy) Pattern functionality long before NX introduced the Sheet Border, Zones and Title block capabilities.
It is available on the download server when it is under maintenance and you may contact your responsible sales representative for further information, if necessary.
thank you for answering. Does it mean, that there are new solutions for getting those "template states" with better internal functions of NX Simcenter as you wrote it (Sheet Border, Zones, Title block?
Mostly I'm dealing with the FEA part of NX , so I don't have information about drawing capabilities.
Nevertheless, I will ask our service provider.
Best wishes, Michael
Better or not, the old Pattern functionality was a different but common way to add drawing frames before NX had Borders, Zones and Title blocks and NXTOOLS provides dialogs to handle them.
As Patterns are in a legacy state, the NXTOOLS will also move forward and there is more in there.
Beetle, all right, so last question: Do you know, if there is a documentation where the functionalities of NXTOOLS are listed? - I couldn't find something about it. Best wishes, Michael
