What object does OffsetSurfaceBuilder.commit make?

Creator

Hi everyone,

I have a function that makes some offset surfaces with OffsetSurfaceBuilder and it works fine. I notice that the OffsetSurfaceBuilder.commit() returns an NXObject. I thought this might be the Body of the offset surface, but casting it to an NXOpen::Body doesn't work. Does anyone know what this object is, or if there is another way to get the created body/faces from the builder?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

It returns an offset surface feature. An offset surface feature has a .GetBodies method that you can use to access the body object created.

Thank you so much!! I didn't even realise there was an OffsetSurface object. That works great.

I really appreciate it Smiley Happy
