We want to convert CGM file to HPGL file format(.hp) for my current project.
There is a DLL avaialbe in C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 9.0\NXPLOT\bin\cgm2hpgl2.dll.
Whether this dll can help us to convert to cgm to hhpgl format?
How to use this cgm2hpgl2.dll?
Is there any siemens help documentation available for this dll usage?

you can use nxplot.exe (SDI-Plot tool) to convert the cgm file to hpgl.
%UGII_BASE_DIR%\NXPLOT\nxplot.exe -input=%CGMFILE% -group_dir=%UGII_SITE_DIR%\nxplot\config_hpgl -printer=HPGL -output=file.hpgl
You have to configure a hpgl Plotter. When you want to hide the plotter from normal plotting you can use a different group_dir. You find information in the NX help in topic system administration. Search "nxplot".
It's working fine. I am able to create the hpgl files now. Now HPGL Plotter is configured through File->Utilities->Printer Administrator->SDI Print Master dialog. But is there any way to configure the HPGL Plotter programmatically or atleast using batch files?
Plotters must be configured through SDI, there is no other way.

we are using the environment variable UGII_SDI_SERVER_CFG_DIR to point to a directory containing the plotter configuration. You find the default in %UGII_BASE_DIR%\NXPLOT\config\pm_server. This are all text files and can pe copied to other workstations or the directory stays on a fileserver.
