There were few types of geometry in my part, eg : “Workpiece”, “feature group”, “MCS”, “Hole or Boss geometry” and etc…, all come with specific name like “workpiece1”, “MCS_TOP”, “A-M16 Tapping”, etc…
How to find out the type of geometry using just the name only? Eg: “A-M16 Tapping”.

The theCamObject.GetType() method will return the general CAM object type.
I usually use theCamObject.GetType().ToString() and check against "NXOpen.CAM.Tool" or such for example.
