value changed callback of UIstyler in Block Styler

Hi All,

In UI styler we have  callback "Drag" and "Value Changed" available in Scale Real/Integer control.

Is there is similar thing in Block Styler. We have Update callback in Blockstyer but I cannot simulate "Value Changed"  callback of UIstyler using update call back.

Appreciate your help

At NX8.5 the only blocks that have special callbacks are:

  • ListBox
  • SetList
  • Tree
  • Wizard

So you have to do whatever you want in the update callback.

What problems are you having? I've been using DoubleBlock with the PresentationStyle set to ScaleKeyin recently and I haven't had any problems (apart from when I triued using AdaptiveScaleLimits, but thats another story).

Re: value changed callback of UIstyler in Block Styler

Thank you Graham,

I want to get values of the scale moved and use that value to place a many solid objects at that location. If I get to have "value changed" call back as available UI styler, I can position these solids after user finishes the movement of slide, otherwise these solids will be placed repeatedly several times when user pulls the scale slide

I see your problem now..

The only thing I can suggest is add a button to do the work separate to the scale.

So the user slides the scale around to the desired position then clicks a button to place the solids.

Thank you Graham

I need to reduce that one click on button.
