For that situation you can apply a 3 bend closed corner.
The reason for not being supported might be that every set of bends can have different angles. Too many different possible solutions to overcome.
There is also still the contour flange for this type of work. But I find your remark a very good one.
sincerely I dont' think so, it's probable that is not implemented in the code and was forgotten this situation.
Contour flange I don't like until when inset option will be available.
the model I showed has a working 3bend closed corner but I used 2 sets of flanges. That might be an important difference.
Or a normal cutout related to the closed corner that hold the desired gap.
It would indeed be much nicer from within the closed corner command.
Internal mitering in your part should work. I will follow up on this and see if it can be done. It should miter if both flange edges are selected in the same set
I would add though, we have had feedback during Beta that mitering should NOT happen automatically.
The new unchecked option...
In previous releases, Mirror and Pattern Feature did not operate correctly - they operated on the underlying sketch rather than the feature parameters.
All this check box allows is to achieve the result you got before NX12 - so we don't have any regression.
So if you mirror a flange that is 'At Center' type, it will now mirror the parameters rather than the geometry.
I also receieved a comment from Beta that the naming of the option is unclear - we are working on that.
Thanks for the feedback.
