NX Material Table for Sheet Metal; Use of colors

What about some automatic use of colors depending on material type?

It could look like this:

2016-10-10_05.gifNX material Table with color?

Hi Frank,
Are you referring the Sheet Metal material file or the NX physical material assignments?

1. Sheet Metal material is assigned per part.  If the bodies are in separate parts of an assembly then this is something that could be done.

2. Physical material is assigned per body. This can already be reported on using Visual Reporting

Hi Dave,

I was actually reffering to a material table (per part)

Am I correct that when turning off visual reporting you won't see the colors anymore?

I'm also thinking of creating more realistic isometric-trimetric views on drafts. I don't believe visual reporting will help very much then...?
