If you attended this year's national user conference, we would like to hear your feedback. What did you like, what did you dislike? Any suggestion for future conference?
I really enjoyed being apart of this year's conference. I heard over and over again how much the users appreciated the content and discussions. I am looking forward to Orlando and being a full-time part of the PLM World team.
I liked how the layout in Dallas promoted networking, it was much more challenging to do that with all the distractions of Las Vegas.
I did not like the temperature control issues some of the rooms had.
Thanks for the feedback! We are confident the conference space and hotel for the 2014, the Hyatt Regency Orlando will provide our attendees a comfortable experience this year. This is a newly constructed space, so we don’t anticipate any temperature issues.
We are also eagerly working on new ideas for the upcoming conference, with many additional networking opportunities!
What about the layout in Dallas did you think was helpful in promoting networking?
Was there anything else specific at last year's conference that promoted networking? i.e. the location, the extra time, specific sessions (roundtable, etc)?
I am not really sure why it seemed so much easier to network. But I heard multiple attendees from CAT mentioned the same thing. Maybe it was that Las Vegas was so spreadout people would dissapear to their rooms for longer times before returning simply due to the long walk, or be distracted but the casino itself. Dallas you could go to your room and be back to almost any conference room during a break time.
I did have a much better attendance in my roundtable in Dallas and engagement of attendees was good. And looking forward to doing it again this year
Great, thanks for the feedback. We anticipate the conference facility for 2014 will be similar to Dallas in promoting networking, and allowing for ample time to rest and network between sessions.
