Board of Directors
Build a community of Siemens PLM Software users, maintain an active web site and forums, conduct regional meetings, publish technical email blasts and organize the annual event: Siemens PLM Connection. PLM World is an independent entity with a strong relationship with Siemens PLM Software to ensure the success of a growing community. The board is primarily made up of elected & appointed user volunteers, including 3 Siemens PLM Software board members and 3 paid staff members to assist in our objectives.
Vice Chairperson (3 year term, then move to Chairperson for a 2 year term)
Vice Technical Director (2 year term, then move to Technical Director for a 2 year term)
Technical Business Director (3 year term)
Time Commitment & Reimbursement
4 hours per week (average)
Travel to 4 face-to-face meetings
Attend the week long Siemens PLM Connection annual event
All reasonable and customary travel expenses and phone calls are reimbursed.
PLM World Election Process:
Nominations will be accepted until May 20th, 2014.
Final candidates will be announced onMay 30th, 2014.
Elections will be done via electronic voting on our website from June 1st, 2014 - June 18th, 2014
NOTE: This election will also include membership approval of changes to the articles of incorporation for the organization. Details on these changes will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
Final results will be announced on June 19th, 2014.
Per PLM World bylaws, only class one members of PLM World are eligible to participate in elections. SPLM employees are not eligible for elected board positions, however we encourage you to participate in our nomination process by nominating users that you feel would be worthy candidates.
