The output port of object:WS12_x1 in the image below has moved to the left side (not sure how, I have been re-arranging the production line with a Method configuring all the workstation parameters according to an external plant layout algorithm).
I cannot remember how we changed this output position on the course, and cannot find it in the online help or tutorials that I have. Sorry for posting such a basic, finger-trouble question.
I made a copy of the WS12_x1 object thinking that maybe if the errant object is connected, the port position cannot be changed - but I still see no clue how to do it. The F8 view of parameter data(attributes and methods) shows no clue either.
I'm sorry - I think I spotted the reason - I am a bit rusty after a few weeks non-use of PlantSim.
I seem to have manually routed the connection from WS12 to WS13 to avoid something, and the manually tied points in the route remained in their original places.
So : New Question - In the method that does the layout of objects, how can one break the existing connection to the successor and then reconnect it - so that the path uses the default layout method, which is probably quite sensible?
