3D Graphic Visibilty / 2D Icon Usage - based on User attribute

I have a SingleProc with a custom 3D Graphic/Icon.  It is reused in multiple places.  I'd like the 3D Graphic and the 2D icon to look slightly different based on a 'User Attribute' in the SingleProc.  For 3D it would turn on/off visibility of an embeded Animated Object, for 2D I'd create multiple Icons (?).  I am sure this can be done in a method, however, methods are triggered by a simulation event.  Would it be possible to to triger this based on the change of the 'User Attribute' (changed in the 'User Attribute' tab of the Dialog)?

Thanks,

DJH

you can use an observer to do this: Tools - Edit observers, here you can select your user defined attribute and define a method to be called, if the value of the attribute changes

Perfect! The observer concept is much clearer to me now.  Thanks!
