3d Export for 3d printing: Only .jt or other formats like Step/DWG possible?

Hello forum,

is it possible to export a 3d Plant Simulation model in other formats than .jt?

My problem is the following:

I have created a 3d-model for which I have imported components/machines as .jt and only have these files available. Now, my customer had the idea to use the 3d-model to create a 3d-print of the model, for which either step (314/414) or DWG files are necessary.

From what I have gathered so far, Plant Simulation converts every imported graphics file into .jt und only works with .jt internally. But is there a possibility to get Plant Simulation to export to different formats? Does anyone have experience with 3d printing of Plant Simulation Models?

Thank you!

Best regards,

tim_k

no, PSi exports to s3d and/or jt only.

If you want another format, you have to convert the jt file through either a CAD - tool or jt converting tool .
