A worker carry multiple parts

Creator

Hi,

I'm working on a simulation of a worker to carry the part away after processing 25 parts. The operator is required to carry all the 25 part to the next process. Is it possible to simulate such process? I'm thinking of writing a method script for the control tab - exit but I'm not too sure if it is an ideal method to do so. If it is an ideal method to simulate the process, how do I write up the script? hope to get some responses and help soon. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sri,

Yes, you could do in a different way by using a transporter (as human). Check the attached rough model.

look here

you can set the capacity of the worker to 25 and define a max. waiting time in the exit strategy (>25x procTime of the station), so that the worker is waiting for 25 parts

--> read the help for exit strategy: carry part away

Thank you Sundara, but can you share with me how did you get the transferstation model? I'm very interested in trying it out and at the same time, if I were to set the transporter as a human, I will not be able to set the transporter as an importer to the particular process right?

Hi Steffen, I am not able to open the model that you have shared before. I'm using version 14. could you share with me the model in version 14? I will be truly grateful if you could help me out with this. Thank you
