The application crashed because of a bug in the software. I would recommend that you install the service pack 12.0.2 and check if this solves the problem. Otherwise, if you have a maintenance contract, I would recommend that you open an IR (you can do this via 'File > Help > Log an Incident with Technical Support' from the main menu).
