Hi all,

I was wondering if it's possible to add a length-oriented objected into a frame via SimTalk. Looked on Learing Advantage, Forum, and Help material, but couldn't find an answer.

Many thanks.

Oh, I couldn't find anything about this on PS help files. But thanks for the reply, I managed to do what I was trying.

There is no information regarding this method on PS help files. However, I've found this thread that giver some further light into the CreateObject method, if anyone is interested: https://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Plant-Simulation-Forum/How-to-insert-objects-by-Simt...

Hello,

for this case you can also look up the method "derive" in the manual, as "createObject" is a deprecated method that was replaced by "derive".

Kind regards,
