Adding to the Help System

Hello all.

Another quick question. If there any way to add my own pages to the help documents, for example like the High Bay Stores has its own section in the help while being an add in library?

Hello James,

No, that's not possible.

Hello.

Ok, thought I would ask before trying to get it to work, looked in the past quickly but could not find a way to do so.

But you can always create and embed your own CHM-file and link to it from your own objects.

Re: Adding to the Help System

Hello

Thanks for the pointer, been busy doing some research today and playing around and have got my own help file that can be used instead of the original help file, which includes the original help file allowing me to add in my own topics into the help.

Now for my next question, how would I from within Plant Sim open a specfic page from the help document through SimTalk (already understand that pressing F1 on an object will take you to its bass class page and not to the library page)?

I believe it is called openHtmlHelp, but need to check.

Even simpler: HtmlHelp(FileName,IndexEntry).
