Adjusting the table index with a method

Genius
Genius

Hello,

I am looking for a way to adjust the table index with a method. I want to use a constructor method to list all derivations of one object in a list.

But unfortunatly xDim or yDim does not work. This is my current method:

is
do

current.Auflistung_AK_Inhalte.writeRow(current.Auflistung_AK_Inhalte.xDim+1,0,?.name);

end;

Is there a different way to adjust the table index with a method?

I appreciate every suggestion! Thanks in advance!

the most simple way to get a table of all derivates (children) of an object is to do a query with an AttributeExplorer ...

Always consider using the AttributeExplorer!

Hello Eventdebugger,

thank you for your answer.

But my problem is not to get a table of all derivations. I want to know how I can add values to a table index with a method. In my case I want to add all derivations of one object to my table index.

But unfortunately, I cannot use xDim or yDim to add generically the names of the derivations. Do you have an idea how I can solve this?

Thanks again!
