Aerospace engine modeling in 3D

Dear All,

I am doing aerospace engine process line modeling in 2D. But I should do 3D model as well.

I could not find a suitable sample regarding aerospace industry modeling.

Anybody can share with me an example for aerospace engine simulation modeling?

I think It would be  a 3D model make up (edit Icon) issue..

Thank you,

Sumin

Hi Sumin,

With the latest Plant Simulation version you can import several 3D formats, but JT probably works best.

Other than that, it depends a bit on what is important for visualization. Is it the surrounding factory itself? Or parts being added to the engine?

Hello Nomden,

Thank you for your reply.

If I would like to show the surrounding factory itself, is it possible only using "Edit function" in3D plant simulation?  Do you have any sharing idea ?

Thank you,

Sumin

For 3D modeling specially when factory surroundings are involved the best is to import from a CAD system.

Plant Sim is not intended for modeling 3D layouts itself nor product. 3D data usually comes from outside sources.

So before modeling I would suggest you find and retrieve this data.
