Carry Part Away to different MU targets

Hi everybody!

I have a question I was hoping maybe you could help me with:

I have a Buffer from which I want different types of MU's going to different SingleProcs depending on the MU attributes. I have been using an Exit Control method that specifies what SingleProc the MUs should go to, and so far everything is working fine.

But now I want workers to carry the parts away from the Buffer to these SingleProcs. The problem I am facing is that when I'm selecting "Carry Part Away" as exit strategy in my Buffer, it seems to me that it is only possible to choose one single MU target. How do I do when I want the parts to go to different SingleProcs and not only to one specific?

This is the method I have been using as Exit Control in my Buffer, and it is working fine when I use it without workers:

if @.FAMILY ~= "M1352"
@.move(BufferNT31)

elseif @.FAMILY ~= "M1302"
@.move(BufferNT31)

elseif @.FAMILY ~= "M2702" and @.OPCODE1 ~= "S+B"
@.move(BufferS_B)

elseif @.FAMILY ~= "M2702" and @.MTDIA <= 100 and
@.move(BufferNW6)

if BufferNW6.Full
@.move(BufferNT31)
end

elseif @.FAMILY ~= "M2702" and @.MTDIA > 100
@.move(BufferHP1)
end

Thank you!

Mallan

Hi Mallan

You leave the "MU target" empty and in the exit control you use "@.destination" instead , for example:

if @.FAMILY ~= "M1352"
@.destination:=BufferNT31

end

@.move

Another option would be setting Station.MUTarget attribute when part enters it. But this approach will not work with Buffer, as it can contain several parts with different destinations.
