Disable Inheritance in Chart

Pioneer

Dear all,

I'm currently struggling with deactivating the inheritance in the Dialog Window of a chart object.

I created a frame containing a chart. I create around 100 objects as children from that frame and place ParallelProcs in them (different buildings). The idea now was to use the chart in each frame to show the statistics of the ParallelProcs in the frame. However, each and every one of the InputChannels table of each chart in each frame refers back to the InputChannels table in the Parent Frame.

Does anyone know how to disable this specific inheritance via a method?

Best regards

Tim

Hi Tim,

see here:

So basically, you just need to do this:

var t := Chart.InputChannels
Chart.InputChannels := t

Hi, I'm also struggling with chart inhertance but my issue is with the Annotations table. The workaround here doesn't apply since there's no text field. Seems like a get/set method should exist. Please help!

Edit: Sorry, wrong login the first time :-D

Well, I quickly checked it in PS14.0 and there is no issue with the inheritance. You can set/get the annotations-table like this:

var tab : table := Chart.Annotations
tab.writeRow(1,1, 2, 1, 1, 10, 5, 0, "Hallo")
Chart.Annotations := tab

I hope this helps Smiley Happy

Thanks Alex. Simply using ":=" did the trick.
